Everything you need to know about the ceremonies, protocols, and preparation for your 10-day retreat.
Our program includes three distinct types of ancestral ceremonies, each serving a specific purpose in your transformation journey. All ceremonies are led by experienced indigenous healers (shamans) from Ecuador's traditional lineage.
Ayahuasca is a sacred Amazonian brew that has been used by indigenous peoples for over 5,000 years for healing, spiritual insight, and deep inner transformation. The shaman prepares the brew traditionally and determines each participant's individual dosage based on body weight, physical condition, health history, goals, and prior experience. Ceremonies are held at night in complete darkness, guided by the shaman's icaros (healing songs). Each ceremony lasts approximately 4-6 hours.
San Pedro is a sacred cactus used by Andean cultures for thousands of years. Known as a "heart-opening" medicine, it is typically consumed during the day and facilitates deep emotional release, compassion, and connection to nature. The experience is gentler than ayahuasca and is often described as deeply loving and expansive. Duration: approximately 8-12 hours in a natural setting.
These ceremonies use psilocybin-containing mushrooms (ethnomycology) for integration and grounding work. They help consolidate and integrate the insights from the ayahuasca and San Pedro ceremonies. The dosage is carefully calibrated by the healer. These sessions are often shorter and more gentle, serving as bridges between the deeper ceremonial work.
These substances are powerful and must be treated with absolute respect. They are NOT recreational. Key safety protocols:
The following medications and conditions are INCOMPATIBLE with our ceremonies. This is not optional — it is a matter of life-threatening safety.
If you have any of these conditions, we cannot accept you. This is for your safety and is non-negotiable.
All medication tapering must be done under the supervision of your prescribing doctor. We are happy to provide information to your doctor if they need to understand our protocols. Never stop medication cold turkey.
Proper preparation dramatically improves the depth and safety of your experience. Begin at least 2 weeks before arrival.
Each day follows a carefully designed rhythm. On ceremony days, the schedule adjusts accordingly.
6:30 — Wake up
7:00-8:30 — Yoga & breathwork
8:30 — Breakfast (organic, diet-compliant)
10:00-12:00 — Individual therapy / hypnotherapy sessions
12:30 — Lunch
14:00-16:00 — Free time (rest, journal, nature walks, pool)
16:00-17:30 — Group integration session with Victor
18:00 — Light dinner
19:30-20:30 — Evening meditation
21:00 — Noble Silence begins
On ceremony days, the daytime is dedicated to rest, light eating (or fasting for evening ceremonies), and mental preparation. Ayahuasca ceremonies begin after dark (~20:00) and last 4-6 hours. San Pedro ceremonies begin in the morning (~9:00) and continue through the day. Psilocybin integration ceremonies vary in timing based on the group's needs.
The transformation doesn't stop when you leave Ecuador. Integration is what makes temporary insight become permanent change.
